Once you’ve gathered your radon test data and you’ve determine your levels to be above the EPA’s action level of 4.0 pCi/L, our first recommendation is you allow us to investigate your home visually. It gives us a chance to find possible locations for a radon mitigation system, inspect areas of concern, and review your test data.

In many cases we request to perform a diagnostic test to determine the effectiveness of the technique we are proposing to use. We gather that data for our records which will help us to determine what is under your slab, the amount of vacuum needed to extend our pressure field under the slab, and the type of fan that will work efficiently to achieve that vacuum.

We will also research data from homes we have worked on in your area which may help us understand what is under the ground of your home and how effective our work has been on similar structures.
